| From the the Cletwr Community Cafe walk 200 yards along the village road in the direction of Aberystwyth, go over the stream bridge, to a point just short of an old chapel now converted into a dwelling. |

| Turn left just before the disused Wesleyan Chapel then walk up and around the back of the chapel up the hill to where the path diverges keep left d(o not go through the gate) and walk up into the Clwm Cletwr to a footbridge over the stream, after about 700 yards, (map and leg end positions in Nature Reserve are diagrammatic owing to lack of formal survey data) At various points on your left you will see a deep ditch or �leet�. This led water to a generator which up until about 1953 supplied electricity to the village of Tre'r-ddol. |

| Cross the footbridge and turn right. Walk on the streamside path upstream for about 200 yards until you see a wooden pedestrian gate on your left. |

| Go through the gate and walk up the path in front of you until after approximately 200 yards you will arrive at a a sharp right junction with another path. Turn right along this path and walk along it for about 400 yards until you come to a T junction with another path. The junction has an inconspicuous approach between low vegetation. On reaching it a glance right will reveal a footbridge 50 yards away but do not go in its direction.. |

| Turn left onto track walk along the track keep going along the path ignoring the public right of way which comes in on your right, until after 300 yards you arrive at a car park adjoining a lane. *At this point you can if you so wish walk down the lane the 800 half mile to Tre'rddol's turning right at the bottom to walk through the village for refreshment at the Cletwr cafe or the Wildfowler. Alternatively retrace your steps for about 30 yards to find a downhill footpath for the three quarter mile return route described. |

| Turn right on to the downhill path and after five minutes you will arrive at a T junction with another path. (map and leg end positions in Nature Reserve are diagrammatic owing to lack of formal survey data) |

| Turn right at the path T junction and follow it down for 4 or 5 minutes until you see a path leaving sharp left. Follow this path the short distance down to the wooden pedestrian gate you passed earlier on the walk. | Turn right at the gate and follow your outward route in the reverse direction, over the footbridge and back down to the village. |
